Clear Mind, Happy Life

A clear mind is like inner sunshine that cheers us even on the darkest day.

With a clear mind, we can always be happy and make the best decisions.

Inner clarity is natural, it’s our birthright, but because of confusion we often feel clouded and unclear in our life’s journey.

This short course will explain how to enjoy a clear and happy mind.

Dealing With Anxiety

Meditation is an effective way to deal with anxiety.

We can learn how to control our own mind, instead of allowing our mind to control us.

This day course will explain how, through meditation, we can create inner calm and mental freedom.

Our special guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Liverpool.

Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years.

He shows a humble, kind example as a practitioner and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in our daily life.

Chairs and cushions are provided in the meditation room.

Everyone welcome, no experience needed.

The retreat is led by Gen Pagpa, an English Buddhist Monk who has over 20 years experience in studying Buddhism and has guided many courses at Buddhist Centres around the country.
