Introduction to Meditation

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. It is the perfect antidote to stress, worry and unhappiness. If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually, we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Sunday 28th January, 10am-4.30pm, £20 (includes a vegi lunch & regular breaks for refreshments)

The course is led by Gen Pagpa, who has 20 years experience of studying Buddhism, and teaches in a light, down-to-earth manner which anyone can enjoy and understand.

Chairs and cushions are provided in the meditation room. No experience necessary.
