Meditation Retreats In Preston

Vajravarahi Kadampa Meditation Centre runs regular meditation retreats in Preston. These vary from day retreats with a vegetarian lunch, to longer weekend retreats with the opportunity to stay over in a peaceful and supportive environment.

What Happens On A Meditation Retreat

There are teachings and guided meditations from an experienced meditation teacher. Most retreats are open for anyone to attend, without any previous experience. The retreat will be clearly stated if you need to have previous experience to attend. You do not have to be a Buddhist to attend – the Meditation Centre is open to anyone and everyone. The meditation room is quiet and peaceful, with chairs and cushions being provided. Vegetarian and vegan food is provided on the day courses and retreats.

The Venue

Vajravarahi Kadampa Meditation Centre is located about 5 minutes walk from Preston Train Station at 38 West Cliff, PR1 8HU. There is the beautiful Avenham Park only a few minutes walk away, with the usual City Centre facilities about 10 minutes walk away.
